The GSR Festival has become a preeminent holiday fine art event in Southern Minnesota.

Bring your original work, stage and light it beautifully. Enjoy connecting with other artists, all in a friendly, collaborative environment.

Ballroom of the Mankato Civic Center

This will be our third year in the ballroom. We have the option to expand into the space we need. Shopping is fully handicapped accessible, with multiple restroom facilities, several parking options, and easy access to other entertainment and shopping options.

Artists' Responsibilities

Provide high-resolution images to be used in advertising. Promote the Festival to your friends and clients. Stage and light a beautiful booth. Connect with art lovers.

Jury in distinctive original art. Advertise the Festival using TV, radio, print and web. Bring in musical entertainers. Provide free power to light booths.

Artists Gathering in Mankato, Minnesota

Every December, artists gather in Mankato for a weekend to show their latest work.

Jewelers, painters, photographers, potters, fiber artists, and others

The Festival re-connects the artists with each other, and more importantly, with the public, to exhibit and sell their newest works.

December 9, 10, and 11, 2011

Mark your calendar now for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in the second weekend of December. The selection will be best on Friday, but expect to discover diverse, beautiful pieces all three days.

The art is gorgeous, ranging from humorous and playful to classy and complex. The artists are easy-going, accessible and happy to connect with you. Best of all, the Festival is free!
